"The process of representing oral text in a written format." It is also the conversion of a written source or spoken language source, such as the proceedings of a court hearing, into written, typewritten or printed form.
In bilingual transcription, we watch or listen to your recording or video and write down every word spoken--in the language in which it was recorded. Then our team translates the text into the language you specify
(English or Spanish).
Bilingual transcription is needed for many different formats: Focus groups, Radio programs, video clips, public speeches on tape, law enforcement surveillance tapes and more.
We SPECIALIZE in Focus groups and legal transcription.
Transcription is much more involved than translation and, since we don't know the exact number of words in your video or recording until we actually transcribe them, we are only able to give you an estimate after we have studied or reviewed the material.
We can, however, give you an approximation based on the length of your video or recording.
